Jan! Wow!
I’ve been called a lot of things in my life… but never Jan! 
Well, you won’t find this posted just everywhere, but “Todd” is my middle name… and so I use my first initial and middle name only when I’m online.
It started when I was in college writing for the paper. J. Todd XXXXXXX sounded like a better newspaper name than just plain old “Todd”…. which is actually what my family calls me (amoung other colorful names!).
When I was an upper-classmen and started doing TV & Radio we were encouraged to make up stage names and not give real names over the air. J.Todd seemed like a good choice, since J. could be “Jay” and “Todd” could be a last name… and I already answered to it… and people called me J.Todd cuz they really thought that was my name!
So, it’s just sorta stuck all these years. And that’s a whole lot more information than you wanted to know! 😎 Sorry!
For this forum… “J.Todd” or “Todd” or “J” or “Jackass” while suffice….
