I’ve always agreed with this, and I’ve had casino managers argue with me over it.
If a player deposits $1000 and gets a bonus of $300, the player does not have an extra $300. He has $300 on his screen. If the player loses the $1000 it did not cost the casino $300, it cost them nothing, unless the player happens to cashout that $300. This is almost never the case.
If the casino was honest they’d give you $250.
