I participated in the “collective” gambling board and it worked pretty well. Since alot of other portals had it skinned for their site but we all shared the membership it always had visitors. You may want to look into something like that. It used to be run by the webmaster of Bonus Hunt but he sold it or gave it to someone else to run.
