MGS affiliate stats all seem to be on Windows based servers. Windows based servers are not well suited to anything like the kind of industrial strength work required of them to serve up our affiliate stats 100% reliably.
Its no big deal if Windows crashes my PC here, but this kind of unreliability is not good for a big internet casino program.
I’ve seen a real nightmare situation when a company that does a lot of transactions and reporting grows to a very large size and still uses Windows in its back end. It ain’t pretty I have to say.
The MGS programs should switch to a more reliable unix/linux OS.
