I started out using exclusive content from girlfriend’s of mine, About the second month word must have spread somehow because at one point I had risen to the #71 spot at sextracker for all sites in porn.
My meter just went around like a gas meter.
hosting I siged up for was $10 a month; + extra for overbandwith. which at the time I had no idea what that was.
2 weeks into that second month I get a bill from my host for $359 and there was still 2 weeks to go in the month.
I hadn’t made a single sale. Come to find out the pics I was posting using my newly bought (expensive) Olympia camera ; were better, clearer, and bigger that those found at the sites I was trying to promote. :bigsmile:
I had to shut down the rest of that month and never really recovered with that site after that.
I slowly learned and soon after asking around; found out that the niche shemales was a huge converter; back then I actually had weeks where I was converting 1 in 30 or 1 in 40.
average conversions were 1 in 50 / 60.
Fantastic considering that amatuer traffic back then converted at about 1 in 800.
but you gotta love your work and I didn’t love mine. especially after going from doing my own photograpy to doing shemale shit.
So I began to look else where and ended up in this biz.
I think to make a decent living at porn, you need to run a paysite. or have a huge portal like green guy.
