InactiveI think its good if votes include gambling and non gambling sites – and pretty awesome to see someone else do something outside of gambling!

How are you managing and keeping all your WP sites up to date? By update I mean, plugins, themes etc.

wbprofitsMemberbasically manually , but I do have a demo site that I have every plug in installed at so I do know when there is an update to a plug in .Then check a spread sheet and update the affected sites . Problem with using a tool or special plug in is I have several hosts and vps/servers and I not want em interlinked .Different sites, different hosting, different registrar, different look, different color, different themes ( I do use default WP alot ) I check daily as it just like checking any page till there is an update then it could take 20 minutes .

Inactivecheck out a free program called infinitewp
you install the infinitewp client plugin on your blog, which gives u a unique key
you then go to the infinitewp admin (which you install on any of your servers).add the wp blog, with its unique key
and you’re able to update wordpress and your plugins remotely.
I tried it out, setup 40+ WP blogs, and updated 30+ of them without any problems – WP and plugins.
It also sends me a daily email letting me know if I need to update any plugins or blogs.

Hey I can set up the domain for you, with a basic theme, and possibly hosting as well.
And all your friend needs to do is,
buy the domain,
follow my instructions to point the domain to my servers,
draw out what the site should look like, and examples of other sites he/she likes
ill then show you where to get the designer and how to pick themand the designer will put the new design into the basic theme
and your friend just needs to update the site.ill do the setting up of the blog, with plugins, and seo stuff for it.

betbrainMemberWe have around 50+ wordpress sites, and like Rak suggested use a plugin to keep them updated from a central source.
