This pain in the ass friend of mine cough cough, allfreechips, told me he was making some good coin with it so I decided to give it a shot. Safe to say that after 7 years of it I like the industry. It also helped that in my 4th month I made $4500 which was enough to get me hooked.

lol, worse than crack isnt it? I got into from a free domain with 1and1, i signed up and thought a casino would give me some free chips if i reviewed them, had no idea affiliate programs exsisted. Then I got a pain in the ass friend started a couple years later.

Got into as I worked for an ISP and could buy domains with ease back in 1999. Didnt start making money until 2003 though.

I started as a blackjack bonus hunter back in 2001 :)

I’ve been in the industry ever since. Last month I launched Fair Binary Options with some old friends, so I look forward to many many good years in this crazy industry! :drunk2:

For me.. I was a programmer in another life for a web company. We had an affiliate program – but no affiliate manager. All the deals we were doing, were just big end deals, but an affiliate program was needed. Soon – somehow – I was emailing people who were signing up. Soon I was being a programmer and affiliate manager for a number of brands we had.

I left the company and became an affiliate – wow… talk about getting hooked.

From there it became a case of affiliate, affiliate manager back and forth!

I can’t imagine myself doing anything else – unless it has to do with history and archaeology *dreamy*

Me too (perhaps a few years after)! That was easy money, before a little country like Denmark was excluded from almost all of the good promotions!

When the best bonuses where gone, it was time to introduce some other players, he he, hmmm!

I was working on a show at Warner Brothers Studio and one of the guys I use to buy props from for the show was a bookie. He told me about this new set-up; you could actually play poker and makes bets online. Wow, all of this tech progress.

Anyway, I was pushing one of the brands for him. He was an agent, not affiliate. The site was Uwager. That led me to BetCris and VIp and MyBookie and thats how I started up.

Oh and In 2003 I was approached by a Dragon Den member (you call the program “Shark Tank” in the US I think) to buy my website (PR 6) for £10,000 – I didnt sell it.

Im glad I didnt as I made much more from it later on.

I’ve always wanted to work from home, so I spent a lot of time reading about how to make an income online. My first websites were adult oriented. They made good money, but I was sending them insane amounts of traffic. Then I discovered the world of gambling affiliate programs and found that just one visitor can generate more money for me than all of the visitors that I sending to my other sites. So I walked away from my other sites and decided to focus 100% on my gambling websites.

My whole family was getting into the industry, so I decided to tag along, and give it a try. Once the first payment arrived, I became very addicted and obsessed with casino affiliate marketing lol
