For me it is not Google, SEO etc these things we can not control.
However the impact on your monthly earnings is depending more and more on the affiliate programs honesty, ethics etc.
1. Locked accounts – players self excluding (read more here : http://www.casinoaffiliateprograms.com/bb/47651-wagershare-renege-on-deal-hold-earnings-for-6-months-not-3-now.html) and How many affy programs steal your players? – Page 7
2. Detagging valuable players from affiliate accounts, only listing the small players.
3. Only show a certain % of deposits, revenue to affiliates (shaving).
4. Cross promotion – not giving credit to the affiliate for using their referred accounts.
Rewards Affiliates Scam : Players Base Compromized | Rogue Casino ProgramsIf you watch the trends more programs are willing to take the risk and jeopardize their trust and good name built for years and about to be destroyed in a short period of time.
If a program is catched and we have proof of cheating the system, I think it is a good thing to contact their licensing jurisdictions to have their license revoked as it is obvious their players are at risk too.
All we have to do is perform quality audits like eg http://www.affiliatesecure.com can we revive them ?
Some very valid points. In hindsight it’s frustrating to say the least, apart from ranting and raving on forums about affiliate programs that shave affiliates we have very little to go on.
The stats reports affiliate programs provide us with are circumspect at best. I think it’s time that affiliates form an affiliate body that compels affiliate programs to belong to this body first before they can market their casinos. The program must adhere to certain rigorous criteria such as regular audit reports on the players sent, etc.

biggygMemberWe have seen many big players disappear on a certain platform more and more which has resulted in us going to other programs on hybrid deals. The best thing is not to put too many eggs in the one basket ,last month we spent $15,000 on test players to one group just to see if we could trust them to be one of our main brands.I run these tests with another affiliate ,when i test i will use his tags and when he runs a test he will use mine.

Inspiration… Agreed, you bring some incredible points to the table. It just shows more and more how vital it is for affiliates to have a constant pulse of what’s going on across the board with all partnered operators.
I think that affiliatesecure can bring an excellent service to the table.
What else can affiliates do? and the community as a whole, do to remedy this?

LucretiaMemberyou can add a /warning-list.html page at CAP with the name of the program where affiliates (CAP members) can vote for the following (programs can not see who votes what etc):
1 = Does not happen to me
2 = This might happen to me too
3 = Likely it happens to me
4 = Very likely it happens to me
5 = I am 100% sure it happens to me
Topics to vote for (for each affiliate program) :1. abnormal number of self locked accounts compared to other programs
