misswiggMemberIts really your call but if you get caught google will hate you! I understand the frustration of being new and trying to get results but good quality seo takes time, I wouldn’t advise paying for links

SunCR20MemberThanks for your response. I’m not referring to link farms, I’m referring to individual quality link directories and casino/gambling related websites who charge a fee to add your link to their site.

iOption-PartnersMemberNo to directories 1000X No!, just don’t touch them with a barge pole, especially if you’re a newbie. On the other hand the buying of links from good sites is an expensive process and unless you’re willing to invest serious money odds are you will get burned.

InactiveIf you don’t, you’ll have almost no chance to compete. But be very careful with who and where you buy links from.

iOption-PartnersMemberI’m inclined to disagree there are ways to compete without “buying” links, but that is usually more expensive than buying them

neerajMemberHi Kathy..i wouldnt worry to much about links as your site is soo new, just build lots of good content and perhaps start by sharing your stuff through facebook and twitter for now…you wll learn lots along the way and you will learn about seo and link building also in time..try writing content aimed towards a niche with little competition (they are out there) and go for catching long tail searchs
