A new member to the forums asked me this recently…
Obviously, it’s an affiliate that can generate high-converting traffic. But, how is that defined? Aren’t there so many interpretations out there?(***This is coming from the school of thought that any program is LUCKY to have affiliates. Affiliates are truly the lifeblood of any program- and if a program you’re working with does not recognize that, then you should not be working with them!)
I know what quality affiliate managers are and what annoying affiliate manager are
It would be interesting to hear some affiliate managers about this, also what the makes up the worst affiliate…

InactiveA quality affiliate will vary depending on the niche I imagine. I think with poker, 3 pros beats 100 feeders am I right? So you could probably be an extremely productive affiliate without huge numbers.
I think in general though, beyond the obvious ability to generate converting players a quality affiliate is one that might benefit the brand image in addition to generating players. Towards this end, a quality affiliate should have credibility with the target market and present the brand in a positive light where possible. That takes trust. Which is why quality affiliate managers attract and keep quality affiliates.
