TrishOZMemberFrom my experience with Fiverr, there’s not much use for SEO and affiliate related services. On the contrary, some of the work’s quality there can actually cause damage.
On the other hand, I could use someone to write a sweet apology later to my wife every time I piss her off. Maybe I can find a package deal of five for a fiver :hehe::hehe::hehe::hehe:January 11, 2012 at 6:33 am #820566Anonymous
InactiveTried them to buy a few +1’s.. They actually did the job but a week later they all disappeared, either google pulled them or the guy who did it un +oned me.

Ouch … maybe you should look into trading +1’s with other webmasters.
I read a thread a month ago or so about affys exchanging likes on FB and I thought it wasn’t the best idea as I would rather have genuine likes which equated to legitmate potential customers, but right now I’m not sure how popular the Google social network is, so sharing +1s might be a better idea than sharing fb likes, particularly if they are intending to use it in their ranking algorithm. Anyone wanna share +1s? Hit me up in PM …

abbykungMemberI’ve never heard of Fiverr.com before, but the idea sounds very intriguing
Not that I would ever use the site for business purposes, I can’t imagine anything high quality coming from a $5 deal lolJanuary 15, 2012 at 11:39 pm #820626

Very true. Yeah I would not use Fiverr for any SEO/affiliate stuff, but I would use it for a laugh to see what people would actually do for $5.

Ivo van BeekMemberVery original stuff! I saw a guy offering to dance any song in a hot dog costume, seemed pretty funny!

I got about 250 of them, google are pretty quick on the draw and removed most of them.
I was left with about 81 – still worth it.

I wonder if this is in India, Pakistan, or Bangladesh or maybe in another location that simply is a desi community? I’m not up to date on the laws of those particular areas, but I sort of recollect that it could be illegal.

misswiggMemberThere are loads of ‘I will promote your business by’ type ones on there ranging from giving a speech in a preacher voice, writing your business name on their nails or getting their dog to hold a sign up with your business name on it and these are just the ones I saw from browsing the front page only!

Jean-frMemberYeah, I love Fiverr.
I actually bought a few video testimonials, including one really great one for a colleague’s birthday. It was a totally over-the-top tribute attesting to her timeless beauty and awesomeness, delivered by a college kid somewhere in the midwest. Went down a treat in the office!

bosshoggsMemberI don’t know… I think that Fiverr could maybe help with smaller, no brainer tasks and for hey- $5 to $20, could be a worth a shot?
On a separate note for useful outsourcing options out there- anyone have recommendations on preferred resources? Truthfully, I’ve had a lot of luck with eLance, but interested to see what else is working for folks.
