ixwebhostingI’ve got a similar problem at the moment. I did some research yesterday, and I’m thinking of trying liquidweb.com. They seem like a really solid company and have been in business since 1997. Researching them on Google, most of the reviews and feedback seems really positive. Has anyone tried them?

softlayer.com – for american sites (datacenters located in USA)
amen.fr – for european sites (datacenters located in France)

I am going with rackspace or softlayer
both look equally good.
Now I need to start sorting out my websites across my current hosting companies, backups.. and shutdowns.
Hopefully this is the start of a long safe secure, 99.99% uptime relationship.
I was talking to Andy from Affiliate Guard Dog.. and he pointed me to
VPS | VPS Hosting | Virtual Private Server | Virtuozzo VPS | Liquid Web
and a couple other he uses.
he had nothing but goodness to say about them.
He sold me on it. I rubbing my hands together. I like the price, the features, and he said in all the time he has used them, never an issue.High Five AGD!
i agree with some of the others… rackspace is know to be both fast and reliable.
I’ve got 72 domains hosted at hostmonster … very inexpensive at $6.00 total for all 72 and the best I found

I’m finding that if I go for one of the shared hosting accounts… My account is quickly locked because if the amount of resources I use. Bandwidth and spacepeopl give plenty of, but it’s the processing resources i use a bit of. Virtual servers is here it’s at for me.
