Learning WordPress is easy. You’ll have it eating out of the palm of your hands in 2 days.
I’ve been using it for 4+ years now.
I will say, you can get very excited with the number of plugins out there which will help you customise your site, seo it, do all sorts of cool things to it… but stick to the best of the lot.
It has cool features like “future posting” so you could line up 100 pages of content, and have it released one per day – so you do all the hard work with content on one day, and wordpress will release each post on the days you set.
Its very easy to use.

Quite a few affiliate sites use WP with good success. Learning it with just a template and an SEO plugin is easy, learning how to code it for a unique layout is another thing.
Make sure you keep up-to-date with the updates so people are unable to hack your site as old WP sites can be easily hacked. That is the only downfall.
Oh yes WordPress for sure! i’m using it and i’m LOVING it. I’m a newbie myself to both WP and SEO and i have to say WP’s backend is tremendously easy to use. And if you’ve got any problems or any issues whatsoever, you’ll get help in no time at all as there are tonnes of people using it and would readily give you any advice you need.

I would like to add my voice to the list of those recommending that you learn WordPress. Once you’re up to speed, you’ll find that using WordPress makes it so much easier to launch websites, which, of course, is the whole point of being an affiliate marketer. And once you learn about tweaking and building themes, you’ll find that there’s really nothing that WordPress can’t do.
We’ve been writing articles on WordPress on the blog about once per week. They’re all in the site building category.

How do plug-ins work in WP sites?..Is it php related or somethin’?
As Jeff eluded, we’re big fans of WordPress and definitely recommend it for affiliates. It has come a long, long way as a CMS and can literally do anything you will want as an affiliate.

On your WP backend, go to Plugins and activate whatever plugins that you want to use. You could also do Search Plugins on that page itself. And if the one’s you want isn’t there, google it and make sure it’s compatible with WP. Once you’ve activated the plugin, go under Settings and set it to whatever you desire. Voila

If your new i would recomend wordpress because it is quire simple to learn and there are many tutorials out there. The plugins are great once u know which ones to get you can harness the full potential of wordpress
