Microgaming still avoids the U.S., correct ?

Microgaming announced almost two years ago exactly that its official policy is to restrict its system to non-U.S. markets — it’s believed that this was prompted by the state of Kentucky’s legal action against international online gaming domain names.

This hasn’t officially changed; players in the U.S. still cannot legally download Microgaming software, despite some rumors now and then that some U.S.-facing sites still let players access Microgaming software.

It’s generally felt within the industry that this will all change very soon, though, as the U.S. continues to progress (albeit slowly) on the online gaming legal issue. Microgaming has enough partnerships and synergies throughout the industry to be able to easily re-introduce its platform to the U.S. market when the time comes.
