Ok, there have been plenty of views, here maybe my information is not clear or that my question is ambiguous, or maybe i’m sticking my head into other peoples business.

There must be someone out there, with some experience on average as to how long it will take to find even a registered player. I know other new face affiliates would love to know this information.

As it can help maintain drive and enthusiasm.

Messed around in some other forums, scraped back some information.

Super affiliates are full time and well revised after around 7 years.

affiliates none super league are full time and revised after 2 years.

Part time affiliates, 3 – 4 hours per day with a site recieving acceptable visitors after 2 years also.

Now this is based upon own inputs, not using thousands of dollars to bypass your way to the front.

Also the average time taken for a bingo player to sign up through an affiliate site was between 9 months and 12 months of starting out.

So new guys, we have some work to do.

If you have anything to give us, and you are there reading this and know how long it had taken you, then please share your knowledge.

It would be nice to have something to aim for.

Grem, I’ve seen your sites and we’re going to need more work, both of us, if we are to make it in this world.

Content seems to be the key, most affiliates use their money to buy out banner farms and split huge grids offering free casino deals.

You need something new, clean and eventually popular.

As for this forum and my original question, what a very helpful place indeed, not.

Now, when i’m successful, i won’t flinch in responding the requests of newbies, but thats just me.

    Hi fellow engineer,

my first hen came after a few days, but that occured almost five years ago when there were no restrictions (UIGEA) at all. The data you mention above will not help you much I think. Everyone is different, some work full time and spend money on promoting their websites (banner ads, paid links) while others use free methods (reciprocal links) for example.

First, you need to determine for which keywords your site(s) shall rank. For example, if you target online casino it could take years until you get your first visitor for that term, if ever.

In my opinion, the most important aspect in our industry, regarding SEO, is to get as many links to your websites as possible. And if they are thematic, even better. Of course good, informative content does not hurt, but without incoming links every gaming website remains a desert.

I think you should attend a conference (Budapest, London), take part in the sessions and network with other webmasters and affiliate program managers. Many of your questions would be answered.
