IMO London would definitely be an excellent first conference to attend. Although you may be overwhelmed because there are just so many people, you have the most opportunity to meet with whoever you want basically for the same reason..
London really is a great show-it would be a perfect first time show. If you plan to go, to avoid being overwhelmed, try to have some kind of game plan: sessions you absolutely want to attend, programs you want to talk to.
Try setting up meetings ahead of time if you can as well so you can make sure that when you stop by the booth of a program, your talking to the right people for your specific needs.
Yes, good advice. I usually set up a schedule of sessions and meetings and leave time in between for just meeting new folks.
You’ll be surprised how quickly you get to know people and make friends there. It’s a really nice, open armed community.
don’t forget your jacket .. is cold there..
The IGB Affiliate Conference in London is always on my list at the top because its the place to meet & set up targets for the coming year……………plus a chance for me to get up North to meet my family & friends.
Wooly hat & cloves are a must but if you forget their are many on offer inside the conference hall………….lol
