Inactivephew, yet another example of why not to promote programs until they’ve been around for at least 1 year…almost started working with them

InactiveThat begs the “chicken or the egg” question.
I wish it were possible to know how well funded some of the new places are.

“
Dear Affiliates,
We’re writing to notify you of a few important changes regarding GaminGang and our brands.
Firstly, 50StatesCasino.com is closed. All settlement issues with affiliates have been taken care of. All settlement issues and money owed to players will be paid directly by Top Game. We at GaminGang, after a year’s worth of affiliate feedback, decided to move a step in this direction to focus solely on the new RTG brand – LVCasino.com.
Secondly, GaminGang in currently going through the process of ownership change. As you will notice, we finalized all payments to date before Easter in order to ensure for a smooth and timely transition period. All download links have been disabled, therefore you do not risk losing money. This email is to give you a formalized notice and advise you to change your campaigns accordingly.
Please note that players have been notified that LVCasino.com support has been suspended. GaminGang is not redirecting players to alternate casinos.
This is a temporary situation but we predict that this changeover will take some time. We will be in contact with affiliates personally once we are back up and running. At GaminGang, our affiliates are our number one priority and we will continue to grow in order to best serve our partners. We anticipate major, positive changes under our new management and we look forward to bringing them to you in the near future.
We look forward to being in touch with you and wish you the best of luck in the interim.
Warm regards,”

KamielMMemberReally annoyed about this – the only notification I’ve got about this is from the forums. I still haven’t received any email and my AM seems to have total disappeared from Skype.
Not impressed at all.

jamescoopsMemberChanging ownership means two things, 1. The company was making good, an entrepreneur or company bought it outright, lock, stock and barrel. Previous owners were given an offer they find hard to resist.
2. Company is doing not so well as previously anticipated and had sold it less than they can bargain for. Meaning they have to cut losses early as their capitalization is quite low thus to avoid further losses or increase their capital, they had no choice but to have it on the auction block.
In the case of number 1 above, a smooth transition can be effected and still have the company running and going without any lull at any point but just to give affiliates and members an announcement/notice that the company was sold. And they look forward to better times.

InactiveAffiliates need to be notified ASAP when links cease to work. We don’t appreciate shooting valuable traffic into outer space.
Then you have the issue whether the same aff platform will be used or not, if players need to be mapped over to a new platform, all kinds of issues may arise and affiliates could lose their player base.
In this case, I don’t think anyone was informed.

jamescoopsMemberCorrect! In the corporate world changing ownership has to be announce before hand. Even when full payment hasn’t been completed yet. Information such as any change in management is dealt with complete dissemination to all parties involved such as in this case all employees and officers of both companies, affiliates and other business partners and most of all their valued customers. Now if it’s a listed company the more you have to divulge the transaction as required by law.
In this case the way I can surmise is there had been complete failure to disclose information in the interest of all concerning parties.
