Looks like the players were untagged after program closure.

What did you expect? ECOGRA is good pals with microgaming who makes money from Grand Prive.

Its like having Halliburton run a trial on Bush/Cheney for their foreign policy. As long as the guys in charge are making money, they don’t care who they screw over.

I am much more inclined to place blame on Grand Prive and their diddling with the statistics that were presented to ecogra. A lot was at stake for ecogra to get this right, and all that could happen to Grand Prive is the loss of more money. So, looking at it from the point of view of whose best interest was what, I am inclined to point at Grand Prive as the culprit.

I agree. Of course Grand Prive was going to fudge the numbers. Of course a snake will squirm. But, it is the job of the snake wrangler to tame it. eCOGRA had a difficult task in front of them and it looks like they did a mediocre job. Perhaps they should have asked to see average payouts for the proceeding 12 months and then Dec 08 – Dec 09. This would have shown them that something was off.

What I would like to know:

Anyone else here who had players who dated back to Referspot, the program that was absorbed by Grand Prive? And were these a substantial part of your player base?

    They brushed me off with

Our investigation of the Grand Privé Affiliates Program is now complete, and we regret to inform you that you that no commissions have been earned by you subsequent to the closure of the Program on 1 December 2008.

Total Bull****. I had many players dating back to the referspot days. Oh well, they could have paid me 50 grand and I still wouldn’t have removed their casinos from our Blacklist. As long as I’m in this business I will continue to warn our site visitors to stay far away from ALL of their properties. It should cost them alot more lost revenue than they owe me.

    Aha, Referspot again.

A pattern has emerged here – and I am quite sure that Referspot statistics were not shown to ecogra.

I have been in contact with eCOGRA and communicated this to them.

i got a few K but its crap compaired to whts owed. I asked how they will know my new address and they stated grnd prive will be in contact. I bet part of that contact is an agreement to not list the properties as rouge.

    Dear Michael,

The information you provided as well as the time taken to compile this information is much appreciated.

We have noted your concern raised as to the adequacy of the settlement amount recommended by the eCOGRA investigators.

We would like to emphasise that our mandate from Grand Prive was to review all records provided by the company in respect of the Grand Prive Affiliate Program software and related database. We were not requested to review any other affiliate program system or information, nor were we made aware of any other system or pertinent information.

We are confident that the settlement amounts have been correctly calculated based on our mandate and the affiliate and player data provided to us by Grand Prive at the time of the review. Regrettably we cannot legally perform any further investigation work into this matter unless mandated by Grand Prive management. Such a mandate has not to date been forthcoming.

    Regards,

    Sean
