Google does review reconsideration requests and to my knowledge they don’t discriminate against gambling related domains.

Taking a guess here, but your issue may have more to do with waiting time. I assume you have linked to the new domain from a few other websites that are regularly cached. If you have done that it should take Google 3-5 days (on the long side) to have you indexed.

Actually I just created a few new ones as well and In same boat.. Usually Im indexed within a few hours….

Its been 7 days and only main page has been indexed. Same Boat here Google also now restricts new urls from setting up the “Crawl option” in google webmasters.

I wouldnt worry unless you are currently breaking some rules.. I just went through a reconsideration request with google for one of mine recently, and it had the affiliate site, but no textual content at all.. fresh out of the gate.. and they passed it no problem, from the moment I made the request, 19 days later it was indexed, and I got a message in my webmaster tools letting me know.

Yahoo on the other hand are a real piece of work, those guys keep refusing it.. Ive submitted several times, and instead of addressing my question of why they leave it banned, they simply send me an email about the refusal, and post a link to yahoo’s content quality guidelines.. something tells me someone in yahoo’s review team lost their shirt in vegas… cause I feel the prejudice.

Received a notification via my Google Webmaster Tools backend that my domain has been reconsidered and if not in violation of any terms and conditions would be relisted.

Just checked and it is re-listed. Yipee!

Out of curiosity, during your reconsideration request, were you promoting a decent amount of casinos during that time? I’ve had awful trouble with reconsideration requests for affiliates sites as they like to categorize a lot of stuff into the “thin affiliate” category and not let it pass. I guess its all a matter of who reviews it, and how good a day they’re having! Also, did you submit your request at the time of posting this thread?

I feel that they may have taken my other websites history into account. All my sites are registered in Google Webmaster Tools, and all follow Google guidelines. The reconsideration request was done via my Webmaster Tools account.

So, just as a good credit history will serve you well, so will a good Google history (Just my opinion).
