If I’m not mistaken, silverlight is what I had to download to watch the olympics online from NBC.com. It was pretty cool, I could watch video streams of the events from different cameras raw or wait and watch the edited version that went on tv. I’m sure its more complicated than being just a video player, but thats the only time I used it.
Is more or less their solution to flash. I ave been using at part of a tool I created for about 6 months now and works great! Funny this is I am using the technology for a non video reason, and is way more extensive then flash
I love it..and I hate to say that cause it is a MS product..
