NicoleSimsMemberI love “notworking” meet ups! So fun!
As for a venue, what about just in the Sofitel? We all are going to be there anyway for the welcome drinks.. Just a thought, less travel time.
Or we could try the bar at either of the other conference hotels?
As for songs and dance, if I was to tap dance while singing mary had a little lamb – would that be okay?
Should be fun, see you guys there!

BetsoftGamingMemberWould this be on the Thursday?

hendrikMemberYes, this is the Thursday.
Although meeting at the hotel would make it simple for everyone, I think it would be more fun to check out a local bar near by. There is a Cafe de Paris within walking distance.
Cafe de Paris
Vörösmarty tér 1, 1051 V. kerület, BudapestI am sure there are many more bars not far from the hotel.

BetsoftGamingMemberI think a bar/pub nearby would be decent.
I hope Budapest is like the other conference venues where bikes and mopeds are left for the use of pedestrians…for free!

I know, I know, I was just stating the plan, it wasnt specifically aimed at you. Agree that pitching for you may be a little bit pointless.

Is the place I am pretty sure I am going to choose I am asking Alex to call and book it for around 50 people to be safe it has a huge outside terrace and over looks the busy city. The menu seems fair to me as well plus the Cafe De Paris seemed to be more of a cafe then a bar atmosphere. I will get back to you but this is perfect if they can hold us all

Marit we cannot wait to me the new addition to Alex’s team!
