It all depend on the payer mix. The avg lines in 3 way betting (1×2) is somewhere from 6-8%. Point spreads and totals, US style, have 4.5% hold. Exotics (parlays, combination bets, aggregator bet and so on, have higher. Then add on top, that if the user base is small and the 1 million comes from $5,000 bets, then your fluctuations can be very large. When I worked in the business, I saw hold percentages from 0.5% to about 13-14% on a monthly basis and from 6.5%-8.5% on a yearly basis. The turnover was between 8 and 20 million per year, so not a very big book.
