My Grandpa always said “you won’t know if you don’t try” I’ve got to hand it to him, he’s trying. Actually, he inspired me, I just called Larry Page and Sergey Brin and offered them $1,000 for Google. (I would probably throw in an appearance on CAP TV if they played hardball) I’ll keep you updated.:rollover:

I recently got a “I want to loan your site for a few months” spam. I cant remember how much they were offering.
I was a fairly big player in the education space at one time and once got an offer of $200 for my main domain.
I emailed the guy back saying no thanks, it’s worth far more than that and he had the cheek to reply saying – you’ll never get more than that, $200 is a great offer, etc. etc.
He basically told me that no one would possibly want the site and only the domain had any value. I laughed at the time. I laughed even harder when I sold the site (along with 4 others) for $160,000!

I had a guy email me saying he wanted to be an affiliate but doesnt have internet so I should send him $300 so he can buy a blackberry etc etc..
You gotta wonder what makes these people even think they have a chance.. LOL
