I’d personally lose the stock photo man from the header. He looks like he’s going to going to steal con me out of my money.

Make the font a little bigger and add a little extra space between the lines (css line-height: 1.5em). I’d also suggest losing the red from the link colours. Probably would look smarter with a light blue and a have the links underlined.

And unless I’m missing something, there is no way to get back to the front page after you’ve clicked away from it?

    Hi,

    Just my 2 cents.

    Few SEO issues :

1 ) Why everything in under the homepage ? Managed with Javascript ??? Can you split the content to separated pages ?

    For example : yoursite.com/soccer , yoursite.com/football … etc…
That will help Google to crawl all the content in your site and rank your pages !

    * As you know Google cannot read Javascript well

2 ) I saw that you used wordpress to manage your blog.
One fast small change that you can make and to get great result will be to change the permalink structure (It’s very simple to do)

    For example : Now it’s looks like this : yoursite.com/blog/?p=126 !
It should be the name of the post … Like this yoursite.com/blog/NBA-2009-finals .

This small change can give you traffic from search engine for long-tail keywords !

I really liked the design .

    Good luck :hattip:

First issue is well known to me, I could split the content to seperated pages, but still the content is not very google friendly, since it is only odds comparison data :)

Thanks for the wordpress tip! I will do that.

My advice is to split the content to different pages and to add something around 200 words of unique content to each page …

For example : “This is the result from soccer games around the world … Here we’ll provide you with the odds of blah blah blah” …

I think the way I suggesting is much better than the current situation … For both search engines and users.

    Regards.

I use WP for my site as well. I would use the option of a static page and design that to give bits of post and such. This will give your visitors a reason to click abount your site.
