InactiveI know a large number of big affiliates that still buy links and it is something that always comes up in the SEO sessions at the conferences – The trick these days seems to be to buy the right links in the right places and not too many – There are many links out there that are hard to tell if they are bought or natural :wink-wink

InactiveDefinitely still going on, but I think the serious guys are paying top $ for only a small amount of links, rather than spending the same amount on say 50 blog links (as are often offered on this forum and elsewhere.)

InactiveIn our industry it’s probably become a bit of an insider’s club no? Favours, who you know not what you know etc.. ?

InactiveIt’s hard to find any links for sale to sites that aren’t in the millions on Alexa and more than a year old. Professional link sellers abound for the unwary and PR focused..

InactiveThere is no insider’s club to link buying who you know not what you know etc. networking and friends won’t give away where there buying links from or who from or price. You have to do all the leg work here yourself or pay someone to link build for you going to webmaster forums posting adds looking for links to buy search Google for the keywords you want to rank for and contact sites in the top 10 or 20 asking if they want to sell a link on their site. Do not mass email personal email each time links will not be cheap don’t even try it if you don’t have deep pockets and nerves of steel to pump 10 or 20k in to links with no guarantee that you will rank in the top 10 remember you bought a link from a website there is nothing stopping your competition from buying one there to the trick is to get links from other website they can’t get there links on or find. Get a hand full of really good links and then few thousand crappy blog roll links to hide your good links so others can’t follow you. build links to other domain name and redirect to your site. Find dmoz editors to bribe to get your site listed and gain more Google trust. Google is going for more quality links not quantity but throw enough **** links at Google some of it will stick. It’s hard to find any links for sale to sites that aren’t in the millions on Alexa and more than a year old you can get a link on any website on the net for the right price everything is for sale everyone has their price.

InactiveI hate buying links cuts in to my drinking and gambling money. But I think it`s a necessity if you want to make good money. But its dead money like paying rent. You should beg, borrow and earn links as much as possible then top up with paid links

InactiveTo add to this thread, our site has an Alexa rating of 318,358, is over a year old and we limit
the number of ads for main game pages and lesson pages to allow buyers some exclusivity.
And that’s all for now except see advertising details below. :wink-winkMay 17, 2009 at 7:01 pm #799857Anonymous
