Could you not take the braces out when eating?
I had all manor of sh*t going on in my mouth when I was a kid, the old train line braces on the teeth and the removable kind. I even had to put on a head brace at night – very uncomfortable and never used to wear it. Dark days indeed.

Unfortunately I was never told of an option of removable braces.. you got a link?
Thankfully I don’t need a head brace.. Can you imagine me at aff conferences wearing that? It would definitely attract a lot of attention..

Bring back some bad memories alright. I haven’t been to the dentist for years and years due to my experieinces as a kid. No doubt it’ll come back and haunt me again at some point.
Renee, Coma lo que quiera!!!! you can eat all you want, just do it carefully, most of the dentists recomend to not eat that kind of food because it can make your brackets fall down, when that happens you can easily eat them LOL, i eat 2 or 3 of them when i had braces :tongue:.
When i had them (many years ago, i was 13) my mom took me to McDonalds, i got a burger (dont ever think about it the first week) big mistake, It hurts like s…t.
And about your look…I think girls with braces look gorgeous, so dont worry… you are going to look beautiful, i assure you that :satisfied

This is what they will be giving me after the braces come off..
well something similar anyway.. but i was told that these were not possible for my case because of the way the teeth need to be moved and because of my age the teeth wont move very fast and that these are usually only used for little kids because their teeth will move quite easily.I also asked about the invisialign but was told no to them too because they take too long (not to mention are more expensive, especially if you dont wear them all the time).

I saw this girl with braces on the weekend and they looked horrible.. all metallic in her mouth. I almost cried when I saw them.
I will definitely be photoshopping them out of any photos I take..
aww poor thing .. im sure youll be right, they wont be as bad as youre imagining they’ll be …
ive never had braces, but my folks decided the best way to cure my teeth being over crowded when i was a kid was just to get a bunch of them ripped out.. unpleasant but effective!

Next Wednesday.
So I have 5 days left to eat what I can.
This morning I put petrol in my car and saw fruit tingles.. So I bought a pack and ate the whole thing on the way to work, making sure I crunched every last possible one.. I def wont be able to do that this time next week, so I may spend my weekend doing just that
