Thanks for posting this, Larry. This is alarming news, especially given that one of PRWeb’s main competitors, Send2Press, also operates on a strict “no gambling allowed” philosophy.

The PR Leap newswire doesn’t publish dirty online gambling news either. But effective PR strategies don’t rely on just one communication channel. Fortunately there are lots of other ways of getting your story told all over the internet.
If UIGEA didn’t shut the industry down, this insulting move by Washington State and PRWeb sure isn’t going to! Our clients’ stories are still going to appear on thousands of portals and blogs.
Geez… I was planning a camping trip in Washington this summer… Might have to re-think that now.
