AndyScottMemberGood post. I can honestly say that I promote so much harder the products of those sites where I feel like I have always been treated as an important partner regardless of how much money my affiliate has generated. And funnily enough this has then lead to the fact that I have actually made more money for them than the ones which had hard times replying my emails and seemed generally uninterested. This business is so much about money but at least I personally rather advertise site with 30% revenue share where I feel like i’m important and that they take care off me than site where I get 40% but its pain in the ass to work with them.

InactiveOver the years we have had to change and adjust the way and who we market so many times I have lost count. This is an ever changing industry and you have to keep up your drive and determination. I can give you a few examples.. long ago we had Captain Cooks to promote and made around 2k a month and then one day BAM they were sold to Rewards and we lost that income. Then we decided to develop and work with Adriches and had that built up to making 2 or 3k a month and guess what BAM they were sold and we lost that income. My point is you have to pick up and move on and decide what program pays you and where you can make money at and market it and work it

Don’t give up :hattip:
PS. It is the holidays for many so some payments will be late and also it isn’t the programs most of the time but the darn payment processors that make things hard on affiliates.

affiliategodMemberbonusstreak,
Thank you for your inspirational post. I suppose I do tend to stay faithful (for lack of a better word at the moment) to certain programs that I have done well with in the past.
I had, for a time. done as you say, change out and try promoting other less well know but reputable casinos. On occassion, it did prove profitable for a short time but pooped out quickly. At that time, I went to boosting up my original top earners. That has only led to further disappointment.
I am going to follow your advise and try switching out, again. I may have to eat crow (or at least pbj’s) for a few months but perhaps if I stick on that road, it will prove profitable in the long run. If not, I will switch out, again.
As you stated, it is a holiday weekend and for a change, I think I am going to take some time off for the more important things in life. Such as life itself prior to the computer age. Perhaps a break will do me good and give me the time to come up with a new strategy.
It does not help that I have not received one single payment I am due for last month. Hopefully after the holiday and break, those payments will be in and I will have my drive back, again.
I hope you and your family as well as all CAP members have a safe and happy holiday.
