CAP absolutely does not trade, release, or sell, any members confidential information. This includes their e-mail address, passwords, birthdays, etc. The CAP Administration team will never make any changes to a member’s confidential information unless requested to do so by the user.
Because the events forms were mentioned in your original message, we have also notified our 3rd party events providers, who will also be responding here shortly.

Unfortunately it must have come via one as it’s an address purely only ever submitted to CAP or CAP events so hopefully one will ‘own-up’ , take the right action and then it can all be over with.

I look after the email details for the events and even though we added the 3rd party tick box we still haven’t shared any of this information ever as I completely understand how sensitive it is – Can you PM or email ([email protected]) so I can investigate as I am really confused right now

InactiveThey do trade emails – it’s an open secret in the industry. Ever since I signed up I got loads of emails from all sorts of programs I’ve never signed up to.

I can only speak for the events and i can say we honestly don’t – I know this is just my word but I would be a fool to trade these emails because if I did it could/would ruin the events and besides 80% of the emails used are obviously specific to the event so people could trace it back easily and their would be a riot – This is why I am keen to see what casinocrush has recieved as I just can’t work out how this email has got out and I would be keen to get to the bottom of it ASAP for his and my interest.

I’m VERY sorry for what I was su****ious of. I have in fact re-checked and the email address used was in fact from another site (a one-off email that I’d registered and it looked very similar to one I had registered on CAP).
I completely withdraw my question – I’m really sorry Alex for any trouble or su****ion arising.
It is an interesting question and thanks for your replies – at least I know how it should be.
My apologies again for this mistake (couple of letters different in the email) – I’ll double-double check if similar happens again before pointing fingers…
