InactiveAhhhh… the misconception about Beacon..
He makes you THINK he does it every year, but it’s his excuse for competing with Max Brenner in the quest to be none other than…

InactiveHey guys..
I just wanted to send out another huge thank you to everyone who sponsored me in the World’s Greatest Shave for Leukaemia.
I have managed to raise a total of $1,130 which is just short of 50% of the total amount raised by our team.
The total amount raised by the team so far is $2277.00.
The occasion where people shave (and I colour) will be this Friday, 13th March 2009. I will be taking some photos today and putting them up on my profile page so that once I put the “after” photos up, people can tell the difference. Ill also post them here

If you’d still like to sponsor/make a donation, you can do so by going to my page and sponsoring there: http://my.imisfriendraising.com.au/personalPage.aspx?SID=59658
Thanks again to everyone.. you all definitely helped this cause in a HUGE way and I am sure there are some very grateful people out there. You guys deserve a pat on the back

Thanks!

InactiveAs promised, the before photos…
2 guys in the group decided to go the full monty with the hair dying.. so they bleached theirs and coloured it before the day..

InactiveAnd the after photos….
This photo was the first one… the towel was covering my face so that none of the colour would get on my face..

I had taken the towel off because the fumes from the colour were coming under the towel and making me a little dizzy..

Almost done:

Front:

And 2 group shots after:

True, however I shaved my head when I was 11 and since my hair is so bloody curly, there was no chance I was going to do it again.. If I had straight hair I would have been right there with the boys shaving it all off..
Anyway who cares! I managed to raise $1130 bucks which will go to a really good cause. I think thats more important than whether or not I shaved my head

If it makes you feel better, I did walk around for half the weekend with the ridiculous colours in my hair.. and believe me, people were looking at me funny.
