Inactivewhat happened to your sponsorship of aston villa? i know you weren’t their sponsors last year…

PyatachokMemberHi Splinter,
After a very successful two year deal sponsoring AVFC, a decision was made not to renew the sponsorship. I wasn’t the person who made the decision – but I guess everything has a value and Aston Villa’s position in the table must have made them significantly more expensive than the original deal. I also believe there was some discussions about Villa selling more shirts in America, which isn’t something they could do with 32RED across their shirts.

InactiveImpressed with what you guys are doing with the kids shirts – I always think its a bit odd seeing little kids plastered with a gambling brand

PyatachokMemberThanks Alex,
It’s actually caused mixed reactions to be honest, some Swansea fans saying that they would like their kids to have the same shirts as the players!
As a UK Regulated casino, we have to abide by the gambling commission’s ruling – and while gambling advertising on kid’s shirts isn’t prohibited – it’s socially accepted that any gambling brand should offer an alternative to non VAT’able (e.g. children’s size) shirts. We obviously didn’t want to be seen to ignore their suggestion!
