PngigdgaMemberYou have successfully twisted my rubber arm. I may even buy the drinks

(although I am not an aff, can I come if I promise to not pitch?)

InactiveI’m up for a pub meet too. It would be nice to introduce myself in the flesh, so to speak. There’s plenty of good boozers in West London, but I’m happy to go with someone else’s suggestions.

PaolinoMemberThe Queens Head in Brook Green is a nice traditional pub, been going strong since 1820…

Not been for a year or so, but I used to drink there every week when I worked nearby and they used to do a great fish and chips. It’s quite big inside and pretty close to CAP Euro venue
One option of many!

InactiveI’d really love to see the old tradition of a pub day at the Walkabout, continue.
Regardless, I’m quite certain I’ll be thirsty wherever we decide to go!

Ah, The Walkabout! – that brings back some memories – we used to go there nearly every Friday night after work. Of course, it was nothing to do with the Australian girls having a propensity to flash their boobs :woo-hoo: They always had the worst beer in West London, but we had some of our most fun nights there!

hendrikMemberIts a great idea, but without any times or venues it is looking a little unlikely. Why don’t you suggest a day and a pub. The one in Brook Green sounded as good as any. Thursday or Sunday may be the best days to do it.
