vladcizsolMemberExcellent question DCBonus.
1. Personally I look for new partners at CAP based on the site I am building or promoting. On my slots sites I choose casinos I think compliment that niche, on blackjack I do the same etc…
2. I read all the feedback about the programs that other members post about a program I am interested in.
3. I check with other CAP members (Friends) and see what have experienced with the program I am considering,

LucretiaMemberif i read good comments here and on casinomeister i will add the program to my sites.
First i will try with top spots exposure for a week and check the stats for evaluation.

Will you promote brand-new programs that few people have ever tried?
Which is more important, the advantage of smaller number of competitive affiliates,or the uncertainty of a new program that has just come out? Thanks for sharing.

vladcizsolMemberI personally wait until there is adequate feedbac on a program and until they have been CAP certified before I promote them.
The temptation to “be the first kid on the block” to promote a new casino is strong, but after years of getting burned I take a slower more careful approach to my partner selections.

biggygMemberWe usually wait 6 months -1 year to see if new casinos are still in business. When we were developing our Sportbooks and European websites LAST YEAR we looked to Cap members such as Gooner/Paul for advise. Also look at the commision paid threads each month

its not a question of a program, but rather who works for it. this industry has some fluidity and a lot of affiliate managers move around from one program to the next. they also tend to bring their reputation and affiliates with them.
there is no silver line to it, just your experience.
as far as you care at this point, stick to top guns and you”ll be safe. otherwise find your niche…

InactiveI’m quite keen on being ‘first to market’ with new programs and am quite prepared to be ‘burned’ as a consequence.
Usually being ‘burned’ – for me – means I’ll send a bunch of traffic that doesn’t make the money it would elsewhere, but I do like trying out new programs.
However, I concur with the Professor, so the new programs I test out these days are already certified here.
