The selection of a new Attorney General, Eric Holder, a former Asst AG in Clinton Admin., should go a long way to changing the “republican” culture that rules right now. Resources used to police peoples’ personal behavior will be redirected to policing scumbags who need attention.

In addition, the Attys Gen for the Districts are also appointed by the Pres., so their agendas will change as well. It will take time for the New Guy to get things in place, but things will change.

The US refusal to abide by the Antigua ruling will be another policy change we should see affected as well.

It has been policy to not regulate businesses and financial institutions, while micro-managing personal lifestyle choices. One of the reasons the economy worldwide is in such bad shape is this policy.
