ClubContMemberwhat’s with all the programs adding in all these bs terms? I see a nasty trend happening hurting affiliates.

InactiveIt’s a pretty crappy rule no matter who has it… Here is how this term has progressed for Bookmaker.com:
February, 2006 – February, 2008 wrote:3.2. Minimum Referral RequirementAffiliate is required to refer a minimum of 10 active customers within the first month of joining the Program and 5 additional active players each consecutive month.. Should an Affiliate not reach this requirement the Referral Commission will be diminished to zero.
Today wrote:3.2. Minimum Referral RequirementAffiliate is required to refer a minimum of 10 active customers to withdraw/transfer their earnings.
This was NOT taken From AffiliateGuardDog.com, but from the web archiver. Bookmaker was not in our system as we have first focused on Casino Affiliate Programs and will later be moving towards the sports area.

InactiveAlways had the impression with bookmaker/dsi/cris that the affiliate program is an afterthought and necessary evil.
These terms, on the fly changes of terms, and their often hasty responses to affiliate questions send a message of ‘deal with us and take what you get’.
It’s a real pity. They are excellent brands, with great products, which is why we have persisted. I wisg they understood that if they have fair terms and more focus on their program they would actually make more money!

InactiveWell – I find bookmaker.com easy to deal with, and professional in emails. They seem to be guys that know their industry and are striving to improve the affiliate side to match the quality of the customer side.
I like the detail available in the backend systems too – no sign of anything untoward there – and it appears that there are zero charges to affiliates for banking fees (of customers) which is good.
The 10 active players before withdrawing restriction could be frustrating for the first few months, but as far as I’m aware it’s always been in the terms and has not been added retrospectively. (I joined about 12 months ago)
The 5 additional players a month requirement was too high for me (outside football months) and I asked for a waiver from this term BEFORE starting with them – which was agreed after discussions – and I received an amended contract.
Overall – I have this group as a good solid book – with a lot of experience and cash stability. Good for players and good for affiliates.
You question was how do I find the 10 players before withdrawing restriction?
A bit of a hurdle – but it should be achievable for most affiliates within the course of 2-3 months of a football season. The term has always been there and I joined knowing about it.October 28, 2008 at 10:38 am #784336Anonymous
Inactiveat the end of the day its just a reason to Not Pay!
There is no other logical reason to have this except they Do Not want to pay Affiliates if they dont have too. Just like they didnt want to pay Tibun. Very Shady, I have washed my hands of Bookmaker.

InactiveI think it’s becoming increasingly difficult to process payments, especially if your are in the sports betting side of online gambling, hence the tougher terms from most programs.
I see the rule change as an improvement, i.e. they dropped the 5 active players/month rule, which was a tough cookie at times, considering Bookmaker has the worst percentage of successful deposits. Not the best sportsbook, but one of the good ones.November 3, 2008 at 5:25 pm #785230Anonymous
InactiveYou need 10 active players per week to Withdraw? A bit high, I have been promoting them for over 2 years and only have 35 accts and no more then 3-5 at one time. Which means I would NEVER be able to withdraw. I sent an email objecting to it, Im waiting to see the response.

No – you need 10 active players LIFETIME.

InactiveNot according to what Scott told me today. He says you need 10 active players a week. Check the T&C here:
http://affiliates.2betdsi.com/terms.aspx
Refer to 4.1 he referred me to the chart that says clearly 10 active players a week. I wish it was 10 active players in the lifetime of the acct. I already have that now. But 10 a week ave? Thats a kicker.

InactiveThis is part of a recent change in terms and conditions. I received an email from them about a week or 10 days or so ago about it.
I’ll post it here when I find it in the morning. I’m glad this thread is here as it has served to remind me to remove them from my sites.

InactiveNope I dont qualify either!
Hi John,
I checked both your affiliate accounts. DSI had 4 active players last week. BOOK had 0 active players last week. You’ll need 10 active players a week to be able to withdraw/transfer the funds from your affiliate account.
Best regards,
Scott

vladcizsolMember10 players per week is what we were told also and I rejected their application for certification based upon that.
It’s total horseshit as a term

InactiveI hear you Prof. I have the combo of BetCris, Bookmaker, DSI for over 2+ years now, and I get decent traffic. I have never had 10 active players a week, ever. I have over 100 registered between them and still would not get over 10 a week. Total crap, what really blows is some of my users really like DSI. Now I need to try to steer them away, without offending.

casinobonuzMemberI am also very disapointed by this rule. I understand the 200$ rule, but this…
I started with bookmaker recently but this is not good. I think I will be able to withdraw after 1 year, 10 active players per week is something very hard… I advice you to send emails to them. We shouldn’t let them do what they want. I will write one email now. -
