InactiveHere’s their reaction:
“It was a partisan decision”
Yep, 10 republicans and 4 democrats on the committee, obviously another Democratic scheme to smear republicans.
They must have drugged the coffee to get the Republicans to vote with them.
Ah, the Republicans, maybe one day they’ll start believing in science again, hell at least accept arithmetic. 10 republicans + 4 Democrats = Corrupt Governor Gets Slapped.

InactiveI can see the spin for next week. It will go down something like this.
They will say that because their beloved ‘mavericky’ Palin exposed the corrupt GOP in Alaska and due to that they are mad at her and out for revenge. Then they will say that it’s Obama’s boys fueling the fire.

vladcizsolMemberAbuse of power, outright lies and manipulation of an all too willing right wing press is the Republican way. She should have a long and dark future ahead of her.

InactiveRepublican vice-presidential hopeful Sarah Palin will take a three-hour break from the campaign trail Friday to give a deposition on her role in the firing of an Alaska public safety official, the Associated Press reported today.

The Alaska Personnel Board is conducting the investigation, led by an independent counsel. It will be the first deposition of the Alaska governor, but the second inquiry into the matter. The first investigation by the Alaska state legislature found that Palin abused her power in her efforts to get her former brother-in-law, a state trooper, fired.
Palin was not subpoenaed in the first probe, although her husband, Todd, gave an affidavit. Todd Palin is also expected to give a deposition Friday.
The Palins’ attorney told the AP that the couple will offer depositions Friday afternoon, outside of Alaska, but at an undisclosed site. Palin’s Friday schedule has not been released by the campaign.
