InactiveIt looks like all the Microgaming and RTG that still accept US players.
This is bad news if/when turnover takes place.

InactiveMany of these are NOT sportsbetting domains or affiliate domains …
At least some of them are online gambling operators :
ultimatebet.com, virtualcitycasino.com, yukongoldcasino.com, pitbullpoker.com, doylesroom.com, casinoclassic.com, absolutepoker.com, allslots., fulltiltpoker.com, bigtimebingo.com(and many more – these are just the most obvious)
The automatic assertion that they’re sportsbetting related seems inaccurate to me.

But David Stewart, a Washington, D.C., attorney who is an expert in gambling law, doubted that Beshear’s strategy will work.
“This is — forgive me for being blunt — a stunt,” Stewart said.

LassoMemberWRONG, its working:
http://www.point-spreads.com/industry/092308-luckypyramidcasino.com-seized-by-kentucky-governor-who-is-next-to-fall.htmlAs earlier predicted, the Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear has already successfully seized at least one online gambling domain name called LuckyPyramidCasino.com. A check of the WHOIS information for this domain name shows that Eric Lycan from the Commonwealth of Kentucky Justice Cabinet is the new administrative contact. The popular registrar ENOM apparently allowed the transfer of the domain name to the state of Kentucky this morning after receiving a order of seizure from a Kentucky judge.

fintanMemberThanks for the head’s up on this, gang. I’ve posted this item on the CAP News page:
Kentucky Seizes 141 Gambling Domains
First Hearing in Civil Case will be September 25September 23, 2008 — According to several sites throughout the Internet today, the U.S. State of Kentucky has just launched a civil case against a number of domain names that they deem to be gambling-oriented.
The 141 named domains have been commandeered by a Kentucky circuit judge, Thomas Wingate. According to the Lexington Herald-Leader: “If officials get their way at a Sept. 25 forfeiture hearing, the state will control the domain names and can ask Web registrars to block access to the sites.”According to legal experts cited in the article, this would make Kentucky the first state to seize a gambling operators’ domain names.
“He [Kentucy Justice and Public Safety Secretary J. Michael Brown] acknowledged that such a move could block access to the domains worldwide, but said he was interested only in its effect on Kentucky,” states the Herald-Ledger article.
Also according to the article the move is an effort by the state to enforce UIGEA, which was enacted in 2006 but has not yet been fully enforced due to various complications in the bill’s structure.
Get more details on the case from this article on the Herald-Ledger website. A copy of the court order, including a list of the 141 seized domain names, can be viewed here.
