GuestHow about if you stopped spamming people first?
I have been receiving huge amounts of inbound spam on behalf of your affiliates, to accounts which have never opted in to any email program whatsoever. I and several other colleagues have been reporting this to your organization for months. The spam continues.
I joined this forum almost two years ago to complain about a similar operation. I have no interest in Casinos or Gambling of any sort since I lost a relative to suicide which was a direct result of compulsive, addictive gambling. Yet I receive TONS of these messages, these days primarily promoting your casino.
Stop hiring illegal spammers and then maybe someone will “review” your sites or your programs. As it sits now I can tell you: I hate it, because the ONLY WAY I hear about it is via ongoing, relentless, illegally sent spam, which you take no action on whatsoever.

betsafecasinoMemberAs CEO of lucky 18 I wish to respond with regard the above post.
For the past couple of weeks we have been inundated with malicious spam to our website.
The spammers who have been sending this traffic have done so WITHOUT tracking and without being affiliates of ours, and of course without our permission.
As a direct result of this malicious spamming we have lost one of servers in Canada; this has cost us a substantial amount of money, time and aggravation.
I can categorically say that we do NOT endorse or allow spam affiliates to work with us.
RTG have been advised about the above, and we are working non-stop to locate the offenders and stop this immediately.
I apologize personally if this has caused any trouble or problems to anyone, and you can be assured that we are doing our utmost to resolve this serious situation.Sincerely Yours,

InactiveBoy yes, that was some annoying spam.
I haven’t seen any in a while though now.
November 6, 2008 at 1:05 am #785632Anonymous
GuestWhile that’s nice of you to say (and the first time anyone has ever responded to this complaint, going on several weeks now,) it isn’t stopping them, and there is NOTHING on your site making any mention of this.
If they don’t profit from it, they wouldn’t be sending so much of it.
I’d like to add that Lucky18 is only one of the numerous brands that this type of spam is leading to, and not a single one of the so-called “affiliate programs” are doing ANYTHING about it!
Here’s an example of one of their downloads which is STILL live, even though the originally-spammed domain has been dead for some time now (indicating they still actively use it in further campaigns:
Original spam (Directly stating this was for Lucky18 Casino) contained a “livefilestore” hotmail attachment as HTML.
That would redirect you to the domain:
http://frasspyeready.com
That domain is now dead. However when it was alive, it in turn would link you to:
http://frasspyeready.com/go.php
Which would perform a download from:
http:200.122.168.229/dl/lucky18/TrackDownload.dll?DID=116840
If I download and run that (that’s still live as I write this), it attempts to connect to:
affiliateglobal.clubeurocasino.com:20000
Where it performs some form of registration or other functionality.
So even though this was labeled and spammed as Lucky18 Casino, it’s in fact hitting a Euroclubcasino site. Loading that domain on its own leads me to CWC Affiliates, who have ALSO remained DEAD SILENT in terms of ANY response to my continual complaints.
I did that research inside of maybe 15 minutes. You claim you have “people on it”. Why aren’t they shutting this scumbag down?
If you were genuinely worried about this affecting your brand, you would get someone to shut these scumbags down, or you’d help in trying to contact whoever it is that IS profiting from this continual abuse, and tarnishing of your brand.
This is the only time I’ve ever gotten any response from Lucky18 and it’s only because I raised the point here. No email I’ve ever sent to Lucky18 or CWC regarding this has had the slightest effect.
Here’s more proof, and it’s numbering in the tens of thousands:
Google only shows 344 results, but do a search for the phrase “Click here to get an $1800 Cash Bonus” within MSN spaces. As I write this the number is 8,430, and the number of blog entries is currently 9,800.
Those quantities increase approximately 900 to 1000 per day.
All of those are used in spam campaigns promoting your website.
If I were on MSN’s legal team, I’d have some hard questions about how seriously you’re investigating this.
Some of those ARE already shut down, thankfully, by MSN. But not all of them, and as I said: there are hundreds to thousands of new ones being created every day.
Another thread on this forum is also commenting on this:
http://www.casinoaffiliateprograms.com/bb/spam.29690.html
I notice that in several WEEKS of complaints, all you say is that you’re “looking into it”.
Regarding the above research: Why don’t you call someone at CWC about it? You’re in a position to do that since it’s your company? Again: I took a measly 15 minutes to investigate the above details.
Here’s another piece of 5-minute research to assist whoever in your team is doing this.

Which instantly redirects to:
http:http://www.lucky18casino.com/default.aspx
But! It sets several cookie values:
affid = 42
affreferer = [blank]And then several session values.
Is 42 some form of “default” affiliate id? That sounds unlikely.
I remain unconvinced that your team is doing ANYTHING about this problem. If so we wouldn’t be seeing so much spam linked DIRECTLY to your site, an a daily basis.

GuestGil;172582 wrote:Thanks for your time and will appreciate any/all comments, suggestions, and questions.I am on this forum semi-anonymously. I will not tell you who I am, but I will tell you: your company has received NUMEROUS complaint emails from several email accounts of mine, and NOT A SINGLE ONE has ever received a reply of any kind. I’m talking 20 – 30 complaints, DIRECTLY to your affiliate team, with NO RESPONSE, going on SEVERAL WEEKS.
Genuine abuse teams tend to do the following:
– Auto reply (“We’ve received your message”)
– Followup email within a few hours usually (“We didn’t send it, we don’t know who did.” – assuming that was your stance)
– Further back and forth where I give you the evidence of who is doing this (which I just posted here.)Lucky18 Casino Affiliate program: nothing. Not one word, and certainly no action. The only response I’ve ever gotten was “We’re working on it”, and only because I posted this publicly. It’s the fastest (and only) response I’ve ever gotten from your company.
I will not communicate via email any further with your company because it is quite clear your affiliate team does NOTHING about this issue.
I have direct evidence (which I just posted in the thread) that shows that a distinct affiliate id IS being connected to this spam, which must mean that he IS profiting from it, paid by you.
Quit saying you’re “working on it”. I worked on it for 10 – 15 minutes and deduced the affiliate id, and close to 20,000 links which remain alive and active. If you were serious, you would get these MSN live spaces links taken down. You would contact other affiliate programs if it was shown that your brand was being tarnished by someone profiting from another program. You would investigate who might have been disgruntled at being cut off and EXPOSED WHO THEY WERE!
Instead I get silence, and “we’re working on it.”
I’m sick of hearing about your company. THE ONLY WAY I have ever heard of Lucky 18 Casino is via hundreds of unwanted, illegally sent spam messages, and I am not alone.
I don’t buy your response. This is month #3 of this crap. Prior to this it was spam exclusively for Gold VIP Club. Clearly whoever was spamming that (affiliate #42) has now moved exclusively to your company.
Until I see genuine action, I don’t buy your response at all.

I see you have absolutely no plans of shutting this activity down whatsoever.
If I were you, I should be extremely concerned about an impending lawsuit on behalf of Microsoft, whose services are being rampantly abused by your affiliates (therefore: YOUR problem, not just theirs.) I’ve made a point of informing their legal and abuse departments about your rampant, unbridled spammers.
When are you going to stop this activity?
Here’s my “review” of your site: It sucks, it supports spammers, and it causes a great deal of aggravation for millions of people around the world who have NO DESIRE TO HEAR ABOUT IT! I wouldn’t recommend your site or your program to anyone, and I know I’m not alone in this perception of your company and how it operates. If you’re acting this scummy in promoting it, how could you possibly be trusted to be running it fairly?
STOP SPAMMING!

InactiveLast time i was spammed on such a scale it was from Gold VIP Something. I brought this spam issue in another post reg. Lucky 18, but i got no answer.
Ezlxq evidence is preaty clear, looks like there is a connection between Gold VIP and Lucky18 or they all use the same “service provider” .. i dunno….
Lucky18-> You can bann all traffic comming from: spaces.live.com, track misterious #42 affiliate, ban his accounts, ban his email domain, etc.
You have to realise affiliates are super sensitive in the topic of SPAM. Plus we try to direct our players to trustworthy casinos. I’m sure this spam is messing with your regular traffic conversions, since players might label You “spam casino” and stay away.
November 11, 2008 at 6:59 pm #786516Anonymous
GuestI notice on their affiliate signup page, they have turned what was likely a checkbox entry into a hidden entry:
Code:Nowhere does a new affiliate have to check that they’ve read their terms, or that they will not spam. This is further evidence that they appear to have a very lax policy regarding spam affiliates.
I have a very hard time believing that they haven’t known about this problem. They clearly are not doing anything about it. Rather than followup on this discussion, they instead contribute to other ones to continue promoting their affiliate setup as if nothing is wrong.
Utterly irresponsible.

GuestI continue to receive spam for this, pointing to sites which are still alive.
I notice they are being far more cautious in covering their tracks.
http://wd501a88y85ggfxi1.spaces.live.com/
Redirects to:
Downloads:
http://200.122.168.229/[…unknown…]SmartDownload.exe
That ip (200.122.168.229) is in the same netblock as lucky18casino.com [200.122.155.218] and hosted by the same company (hostarica) which also hosted VIP Gold and Euro Club casino, both of which *also* were very heavily spammed.
It appears to me that you are in a position to do more to investigate who is continuing to spam these messages to me. (And millions of others.)
Shutting down a measly two affiliates (the only ones I informed you of so far) is not good enough. Very obviously your affiliate team needs to do a much better job of policing who signs up.
I’m not alone in receiving these (or in being pissed off about it.)
I continue to inform the FTC, Microsoft (whose services you are CONTINUING to allow to be abused, making you the liable party when their lawyers come calling) and other authorities.
It bears mentioning: your ability to remain available to US residents is most definitely going to be affected if you fail to shut these spammers down. You have the means to do it, yet you do not.
Why?
I remain unconvinced that you are genuinely taking action on this.

GuestReceived two more moments ago, so clearly you haven’t sent a clear enough message.
It’s two distinct msn live spaces links:
http://b943fellosrmnvw3niri.spaces.live.com/
http://f70ytediiqau.spaces.live.com/Which again are both pointing to:
Which I documented in the previous message.
I say again: YOU ARE in a position to shut this individual (these individuals) down. You haven’t, and they are continuing to profit from this abuse, clearly.
Also: they continue to automatically register from 20 – 30 of these msn live spaces accounts, in continual violation of MSN’s terms of service. I continue to keep their legal team abreast of this abuse, which is only going to dig a much deeper hole for you and your company, since you know about this activity but yet continue to do nothing about it. That means that lucky18 Casino is *liable* for this abusive activity (even though it’s – assumedly – your rogue affiliates who are doing this on your behalf.) You *can* be charged for this abuse.
Shut this activity down at once!
TOTALLY dissatisfied with your response!

GuestContinuing to receive from 8 – 10 of these per day.
You know you hire spammers and you do nothing about it.
Tell me again: WHY is Lucky 18 considered to be CAP certified?
They are knowingly allowing spammers to promote their casinos to individuals like myself who have NO INTEREST IN HEARING ABOUT THEM!
This is completely unacceptable.
I am sick of hearing that you’re “looking into it”. Your claim that you’ve shut down your spamming affiliates is obviously an utter lie.
As long as I continue to receive spam promoting your casino, I will make it my goal to expose your company for the obviously fraudulent operation that it is.
CAP moderators: I would suggest that you seriously consider removing whatever approvals or certifications you may have awarded this affiliate program in the past. They have been illegally spamming several hundreds of thousands of people going on at least 6 months now, and they have lied to us about taking any action about it. They continue to ignore repeated direct abuse reports and have never taken any kind of action against illegally spamming affiliates.

InactiveI know this is an older thread but I have recently become a spam victim of these idiots. I’m getting several emails a day, all pointing in one way or another to 200.122.168.229, which belongs to Gold VIP(RealTime Gaming).
These guys are the cyber mafia and couldn’t give a crap about what we or anyone else think.
