In my experience – no.
I expect that displaying adsense ads and/or buying adsense ads results in a ranking improvement … but that it’s only one factor involved in googles algos.
If you can imagine Google having 10,20,50 rating factors – then I would expect that googles revenue men would insist on it being one of the factors.
Given Googles ad income even a 1% increase in ads displayed is tens of millions of dollars.
Almost impossible to prove though.
:tongue:I have 2 adsense sites, for all purposes they are exactly the same quality.
One is #1 page 1, the other is buried.
And I wouldn’t expect your buried site to jump to #1 either … it’s not a black/white or on/off switch.
But I do believe that it is a factor that an effect of SERP positioning.
Given two pages with similiar page structure, similar link strategy, similar content, then I’d expect the financial advantagous page to appear above the other one.
