That’s classic!
but try this one for size…
last year I made an appointment with my account manager at our bank in Spain
(:Cry:already some will be wincing at the mention of Spanish banks!:Cry:)
After keeping me waiting for 15 minutes we sat down but pretty soon he jumped up again and said he just had to step out for a moment.
I thought he just needed a leak/paperclip/pen that worked. So, imagine the incredulous look on my face when I saw him through the window, walk by on the pavement outside ! He came back again about 10 minutes later carrying a coffee and a croisant!
Cheeky MuthaHubbard had been out for breakfast!

I find some waitors take ages to bring you a drink or bring you the bill – I just walk out and before you can blink, they are on you with the bill.
Always works in my case!
You can’t really blame the waitors/waitresses – the management should hire people who enjoy the work and pay them accordingly.
I would rather pay 20% more than the going rate and have good employees than pay the standard and have miserable zombies walking around – this all transfers to the customers and can make or break a business.
haha, you guys should venture out to eastern europe sometimes. not to namecall the whole area, but generally service is not what they are known for. and sometimes at restaurants it would just be horrendous. imagine an ashtray full of cigarette butts (almost over the top) and nobody even bothers to change it. like its not part of their business to change ashtrays. or getting beers with foam half way down the glass…
…on the other hand, there are some really nice places. i guess its a trade off. being an asshole once in a while helps too to step up the service a notch:)
