We never promoted betterbet at GoonersGuide.com because I prefer to work with partners with a good solid track record.
BetterBet started in 2006 (I see the release says 2005 – perhaps it took a while to set up?) and closed it’s doors and it’s affiliate program last month (July 2008) after a run on funds – as it’s backers withdrew financial support.
Good to see Stan James step in and take it over, and maintain the players account balances(?), but it’s another example of a new entrant not having the cash reserves to survive in this market.
:Cry:I had a betterbet account myself and received the new Stan James details pretty soon after the announcement – so looks like all is fine for players.
But not so sure for affiliates – We did promote better as an affiliate via Oxygen and have no idea where we stand with any future rev share from referred players – Oxygen say they arent dealing with it after Julys commission and Stan James have said they arent dealing with affiliates!
