InactiveI really like the newsletter and am just looking at the latest one to try and see if there are any ways I would improve it. Only things at this stage I can think of are:
In the community forum bit you include a few more posts etc. for example what about Most viewed thread that week, Most responded to thread, etc. etc. That way I will know if I have missed an important one.
Also maybe a poll once a week in the newsletter that is on either something interesting or something topical (this can link to a forum poll) – And then post the results in the following newsletter.
This maybe too much but if there is any good promos, competitions or affiliate free rolls going on these could be listed. I saw the Cake poker competition for a free trip to CAP Euro on there but I know there is a number of other comps like this as well as other promos going on at the moment and I think a lot of affiliates miss these unless they see that particular thread.
Thats it for the moment :sarcasm:

fintanMemberAlex, those are some great ideas, I appreciate you taking the time to list them. And I agree that our members’ promotions should be more prominently displayed, both on the site and in the newsletter. I’m working on getting that in place. As we currently have it, most promotions can be found on the Press Release page (http://www.casinoaffiliateprograms.com/Pressrelease/) — but since the Forums seem to be where everyone spends most of their time, they’re often posted there too, and receive many more page views that way.
Bonustreak, when you registered for the CAP Forums, you had the option to receive the newsletter (and the free CAP magazine, which I repeat is a very nice publication). If you chose to receive it, you may want to check your spam or junk mail folders in case it’s being routed there instead of your inbox. (That shouldn’t be the case but does sometimes happen; if so, make sure to mark the email address as “safe” and that should solve that.)
If you chose not to receive the newsletter when you signed up, or canceled at some point since then, you can change this by logging in to your account, and clicking on the “Control Panel” link at the very top of the page (directly beneath where it says “Welcome, (username)! Logout“). You’ll then be directed to a page has a Yes/No option for both the newsletter and magazine, where you can re-sign up for either/both.
Thanks again guys! I appreciate the feedback.
