InactiveGoogle are well aware of certain long-term advertisers – or should I say, ‘friends’. Lots of money there.
Google have different rules for different people and they have no intention of booting them from casino advertising. To say Google are dodgy-as-hell would be a massive understatement.
Kinda makes Google’s “don’t do evil’ slogan seem like a thing of the past or just taking the piss.
Google’s casino advertising policy these days make’s ODP/DMOZ look legit.

InactiveWell if that’s true the advertisers must be making an immense fortune – when ads were allowed key words were going for up to $8 a click, with such limited competition I imagine clicks are well under a buck… possibly as low as 10c.
It could well be true they have an arrangement – I was granted a unique waiver for a particular, gambling related ad.

InactiveI got a couple of campaigns through – No idea how and they even broke other rules such as having multiple $$ in the title – I had it up from Aug last year to last week when they took them down. Some months would cost a fortune others not so much but there certainly a profit there – Will be attempting to get something back in there soon

mayur2505MemberI know that some of our affiliates would open the adwords account for retail clients first. They would add a gambling ad later which seemed to slip in easily if you had 10 other campaigns running at the same time … good luck

InactiveI wouldn’t want to risk my adwords account tbh, they shut your account after a certain amount of violations.

biggygMemberI have been running google adwords for past few weeks -minimum bid per click is $12.00 ,they work for me only in google.co.uk .I have tried to get them in google .ca and google.com and they always get disapproved.I suppose it is up to individuals if they think it is worth it or not ,the cost is not for the people with weak hearts lol.Just wanted to say the page we advertise is a signup for mailing list only , no gambling content is on the website.

Inactiveindividuals have to choose whether its worth time and money. but adwords will close your account after a certain number of violations so beware. i guess its fine to slip thorough sometimes but…always consider the gains/losses.

InactiveDo you think being banned from ad words would effect rankings on your other sites? I am guessing no but wanted to check

biggygMemberI can only speak for myself here , We set up a domain just for adwords adn the mailing list , we spend about $3000 a month and it is worthwhile for us.We use adwords for certain poker terms only and in this google acct we have only 1 domain , we dont use adwords on the same google user acct that we have gambling websites.
Obviously when you do as we do using just a email list form and not having any linsk to click the risk is higher and conversions lower than having a website with all the links but we have found it worthwhile .Google.co.uk is where we have ads , same ads were declined on .com and .ca.
