Based on a shortened Charger platform its lighter and faster and a convertible version should be out before Christmas. This is a real dream machine.

Reckon I know who people would be looking at if we were cruisin’ thru LA Bonusstreak. Here’s a pic of me in my new super-charged fanny-magnet. Be afraid…be very afraid :3eyes:

I saw a report a couple weeks back that dealers taking orders are already getting $15,000 over sticker. It is a BAD ASS car though!!

you can put the dodge in your garage and look at it all day so you do not have to worry about rising gasoline prizes, accidents, dents, scratches etc :3eyes:

Nice car with that 6,1 liter V8 engine.

Is a convertible also available ?

In euros it is not that expensive, but you need a platform to provide your own gasoline.

HAHA Simmo, Professor it is official it is going to be the challenger for me!! Silver, thinking I will go test drive one in the next few days and the plus side is my sister in law works in the financing dept at Dodge so I can get a decent discount..

Powering the Dodge Challenger R/T is a revised 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 engine producing 370 horsepower (276 kW) with a five-speed automatic, and 375 hp (280 kW) with a six-speed manual transmission. The engines belt out 398 lb-ft (540 Nm) and 404 lb-ft (548 Nm) of torque, respectively; the Challenger R/T can do 0-60 in under six seconds, bone stock.

If I cannot get a manual then I won’t buy it, would be pointless to me being a sissy automatic car..lol NO OFFENSE to the automatic drivers out there!

The new Challenger is one sweet ride bonustreak Don’t forget that Camaro is coming out with its retro 1968 style for 2009. What a tossup they both look great.

I just got this toy last month I Love it Porsche Boxter S not a Cayman but plenty fast for me 0-60 in 5.7 and from a rolling start its just a quick shift too 2nd gear to see 60. And it loves curves. But not a car you would want to take on a long trip.
Bonusguy definitely a fun toy you can’t go wrong with this one.

My accountant tells me if i have it painted up with the business logo it is legit business expense so my business will pay for it .Of course we will be having a board meeting with the director and ceo aka me to approve such an expense and my trusty associate will take the minutes lol .I love the retro cards, my brother bought the 2002 Ford Thunderbird when it came out ,i think that one was based on the 1955.Soon we will al be drive new ‘old cars’ again.

Had a look at the new/old Camaro what a sweet looking ride, I am so damn torn now..lol I would love to have a convertible Challenger though, so many choices. I will may hold off and make it a xmas gift to myself, of course my 15 yr old boy is begging and scheming ways to get me to buy now AS IF he would ever get a chance to drive it!!! I just bought a 2007 Mazda6 5 speed and I am starting to not like it and get bored..lol
