The geographical location of the server is irrelevant if its being used in the commissioning of a crime (as defined by Federal OR state OR county OR city laws, etc…) If you’re hosting child porn in a country that has no laws against it than you cannot tell Uncle Sam to buzz off, you will go to jail. Look up the story about nowhats****edup.com – the server was hosted in Amsterdam, but the county sheriff’s office prosecuted him.
But on the bright side, the reality is that unless you’re running a bookie and accepting wagers, than don’t worry about it.
