I had three US whales before US’s law change. I have no whale now. It is very hard to hook a non-US whale.

I will try to promote into Chinese market to seek any whale in Hong Kong, Taiwan or oversea Chinese market. Chinese prefers land-based casino rather than online casino. 70-80% of land-based casino players in Macau are from China. However, frankly, China online gambling market is not a target goal to achive due to China Internet blocking. Communist gov it sucks.

I went to Macau a month ago. The updated data indicates that Macau is the biggest gambling city in the world exceeds Las Vegas. FYI, as gambling is forbidden in China and Hong Kong, hundred thousands Chinese people go to Macau for gambling every week. 70% of income of Macau govement is from Gambling Industry.

I can not imagine how Macau can live without gambling. While Chinese gambling market in Macau is huge, Chinese online gambling is blank.

Whales have individual tastes just like everyone else. I don’t think it’s so much what software they like, it’s whether your site tells them what they want to know. I have some whales that come back to me to look for new places to play and switch around, for them it’s most important to find lots of info and it must be fresh.

I don’t just want to attract a whale once, I want him to come back to me after he is done with where he was playing. Whales get sick of losing like everyone else, and smart whales who play what they can afford and keep playing indefinitely are the kind I like.

    Great Advice Dom. Thank you..

I wish when Sci fi closed its doors on US…and they migrated all the affiliates to Pantasia..along with our players, that i had some kind of proof that Pantasia is actually crediting me with those old players, cause thats how i lost my one and only whale, and i do so miss her! lol

I have asked pantasia more than once about my old migrated players, and have never received an answer.

But you are so right about keeping a whale coming back to your site every time they want to try a new casino, do you have any suggestions on what kind of content a proffesional gambler looks for on a website, compared to the once in awhile just for thrills gambler?

thanks everyone , your all the best.
I love CAP, you can learn so much and from the best.

Pick the programs you like to work with best and ask them to help you recruit whales for their program… they like different offers. They could care less about 10 dollar freebies…

The casinos know best what works for their casino.

    Speaking of big players..

What incentives attract them and retains them? Here I mean in terms of casinos, not attracting them to your website. I was trying to think “If I was playing high stakes poker, blackjack or sportsbetting.. what would I want?” and I couldn’t find great answers.

For poker, higher rakeback (I know rakeback doesn’t have a good reputation here, and I agree, but objectively that’s what you’d want as a player). Points store? Not sure if they care about that much, even though buying a porsche with points must be cool.

For casino.. tougher, here I don’t really know..

For sportsbettors, at first I thought game tickets but then again, if I was betting hard I wouldn’t need a casino to give me tickets anyway.

    Anyone has ideas?
