vladcizsolMemberThey are still certified and can be reach via our PM system. The affiliate manager asked that we close the forum because they felt uncomfortable with some of the questions being posted.

InactiveThat seems a bit ridiculous.
What could they possibly have been worried about? There weren’t anything but payment questions in their forum recently. And I don’t recall anything accusatory, threatening, or flammatory about any of the posters (I was one of them).
That is a bit frustrating that we cannot communicate with them properly anymore (outside of PM). I thought that was a condition of certification here? Will they be de-certified soon?

vladcizsolMemberI read all the threads and I didnt see anything excessive either. Just people asking about their payments. Some times people have a different level of comfort when it comes to discussions. I personally think that communciations are paramount to maintaining relationships and even when the going gets a little tough I prefer to keep going.
I also believe 99% of the managers out there appreciate questions and input from their affiliates and look at these as opportunites to improve their program.
Refusal to having a forum is not a cause in and of itself for decertification. What IS a cause is if problems are not resolved in a timely manner or they are unresponsive to arbitration requests. In the case of Betfred neither of these have occured yet. But if they do and if affiliates are not paid whats due then you can expect we will take the appropriate action.

InactiveI have to agree with Professor. Somehow I have a feeling that hadn’t we had a forum to post these complaints publicly we wouldn’t have heard from them at all.

InactiveNot wishing to stir the custard but this does seem a little strange.
:hitthefan
From my point of view when I was there, I found these forums a valuable tool for many reasons. Although I did get some stick and issues/problems were raised here this is sometimes the only way a problem was spotted and subsequently resolved!
I would like to see Betfred have there forum back online as I still look at it thinking what could have been!

As many of you know they have a new team there and it will take them time to get to grips with the workings of new systems and time to be trained on certain aspects of the job, maybe this is just to give them some time to sort some stuff out before they unleash the beast back on CAP forums?
P.S. Unrelated but, I am loving the new smilies

I was wondering when someone would use that one – I really wanted to but just couldn’t think of a reason :3eyes: or how I could fit it in a comment

InactiveMartyn good hearing from you again. As for the payment issue, it is still unresolved.
