I have a Moneybookers account but never used it. I am fairly certain they dont accept US gamers anyway so they can pound sand. Next time transfer to a different eWallet. Eco and Quicktender both work well. In the mean time just keep providing them the docs and sooner or later they will process your withdrawel.

Moneybookers are – and ALWAYS have been – completely shite when it comes to customer service. They just don’t give a feck what their customers think and they seem to be happy with that policy. Me? I’ll never use ’em precisely for this reason.

Hi Nick, I have quite an opposite experience. I too was “randomly checked” while trying to withdraw larger sums and needed to provide proof of identity. All was solved in timely manner without any hassle. I heard some horrific stories about their customer support but can`t say it was so in my case. Hope it goes well for you.

    cheers

    I hope you’re right

5 times we’ve been in contact this week and i’ve sent them documents 5 times already, uploading 4 each time that were above average quality, but nothing i do is good enough for them, they’re like an ex-girlfriend in that way, very irritating

What i’m paranoid about is that they are targeting Canadians, like they did with Neteller, and that Canada will follow American law, so they are just trying to delay my payment, that’s really what it feels like, like they’re purposely trying to delay me or look for some technicality to stiff me and seize my cash

I wouldn’t put anything past anyone when cash is involved

Ask them for a vip Professional gambling acct , I have one and get no problem $xxx, xxx a month.Once you identify yourself to them as a casino affiliate or player with high limit needs there wont be any issues.I am in canada and what they had me do is get the bank to give printout of a wire transfer verifying them as sending and me as receiver and all my problems were over.

I have an account with moneybookers but have never used it. After reading this thread, there’s no way that I will ever use it.

    Be careful…
my money in moneybookers just got stolen.. and I ask moneybookers for help, they just tell me all transactions are final and irreversible, they don’t even try to get my money back…

I am really disappointed on moneybookers.

    FFFF MONEYBOOKERS

    NEVER USE MONEYBOOKERS!

All of you who having issues with MB, should make a complaint at the Financial Ombudsman Service. That’s what I did.

    That’s good advice, Led.

The FOS are somewhat backed up with heavy workload at the moment but they usually get the job done. Their site is a little bit unfriendly when it comes to navigation but you can get directly to the complaint form (in .doc format) for downloading here:

So…. did your issue with MB get resolved with their help then? :sarcasm:

    Good addition, Fiction.
I encourage everyone to go ahead and complain. The ombudsman has to know about the issues with MB, and’ll put pressure on Moneybookers to do the right thing.

It’s in the process. It takes time…maybe a year to get a resolution, but there isn’t any other recourse. It worth to go ahead as it only involves a little time, effort and a postage stamp.

We had a bank that played games about releasing our money, after closing our account because they changed their mind about taking gaming business.

After about 2 weeks and a few phone calls my partner says: “So, are you telling us you’re just going to steal our money, if so we’ll stop calling now”

They were so offended that we would think they would take our money, they delivered the check to the other bank across the town square, the next day as originally promised weeks earlier.

If the place is legit and just a bunch of morons accusations like that usually make things move faster. If they’re thieves….well you don’t need me to tell you what happens next.

never used them, now i never will.

For safety, neteller is safer than MB; but for fees, MB is better.
My company encounters some fraud from Paypal to MB transfer. Usually the paypal is verified account, and they want you to transfer the fund to their MB account, and their email are the same. However when paypal discovers it is a fraud activity, and i report to MB, MB is very slow to react.
so, as i always recommend people, please keep your minimum $ in ALL money payment gateway ASAP (As small as possible)
