I would say a review site is better strategy. It is difficult to gain Google traffic with opt-in page only. Moreover players tend to sign up rather via a professional looking website than via a email.

With so many casino referal sites loaded with “click here” and “free” banners… I think review sites are much better.

I am currently working on a gambling blog myself. Only problem with blogging is I am using wordpress and am having some troubles with Google sitemapping.

    Good luck to you.

Always build a quality site with unique content.

Capturing emails that are not truly opt in is SPAM and it will get you kicked out of most reputable affiliate programs. This is are real business that provides rewards commensurate with your level of work and dedication, its not a churn and burn scam where you can make quick cash with no effort.

If you have the time and expertise, this is “the industry” to build review sites.
The main advantage is that you have not to deal with “prices”.

So there’s always the chance to offer an unbiased advice, about bonuses, software, payments etc

I’d definately go the review route of the two. But by “review” I don’t mean churn out the usual garbage about how great a place is, how amazing the games are etc etc, but do a proper review – here are the good points and the bad points, and let your visitors see that it’s objective and a trustworthy source.

Better still, try and find a niche that you know a lo about – specific types of games, experiences or maybe something more unique. Work yourself up as an authority. That’s where the long term success in this industry lies IMO.
