InactiveIf it happened while you were installing the template be assured you were banned well before then for some reason.. Google is not instant!

It took me a week to install and config the joomla with my template. And before it had just a blank page so i don’t see the reason.

InactiveWell if it is any help it hung my machine 3 times and once forced a power down. However, it is an older machine but I tried it with IE 6 and FF 2.x.
Most of the home page loaded but it was waiting for a response from your site. Perhaps this is happening when Google tries to crawl it?
Cheers,

SlotplayerI just tried on two old computers with internet explorer and Fire Fox and it worked fine. Do you know exactly from wich line/script your problem comes from?

InactiveI don’t know much about Joomla but it is a widely used cms, if you have problems with it then why not try modx which is similar. Seems weird that Google should ban you for using joomla though, are you using friendly url’s?

I spent one week to setup and config joomla with my template, i won’t change cms mostly i’m not sure it will get me unbanned from google.
What do you mean by “friendly url”? I’m using SEF for url rewrite and I only have very few clean backlinks yet.February 20, 2008 at 3:36 pm #761361Anonymous
InactiveI would wait 1-2 week before getting concerned..

InactiveAaaahhh….
Every single page on your site has the same title, description etc.
This is very bad and might very well have caused this problem.
Imo you should fix that ASOP!

Inactiveok, found this:
3 quotes:
“The syntax will be valid, but it has no particular defined meaning.”
“It would seem to at least lead to confusion with the HTML title tag.”
and from Tedster:
” The meta title () is not the same HTML entity as the title element (Blah Blah Etc. ). It is the title element thas has always had major sigificance for search engines, not the title meta tag. “and here:http://www.velocityreviews.com/forums/showpost.php?p=761737&postcount=2

I’m on an XP Pro system now, it was a windows 98 system (don’t ask) and it hung on loading the jackpot applets. It loads fine with XP.
in any even your site is in google but not well optimized.
Go to Google and in the google search box type: site:http://www.ratemyonlinecasino.com/%5B/CODE%5DYou’ll see all the pages crawled. However notice the descriptions under the title are identical. I used to have the name of my site on every page but have concluded that unless I’m attempting to achieve brand name recognition (lol) the real estate is better used for specific keywords.
checkout highrankings.com for some optimization tips and advice, maybe get the newsletter.
